Dóro Fuqugi

Fuqugi is a wood workshop founded by designer Daiki Sakae in Kirishima, Japan. From its various wooden products offerings, two vases with distinct shapes were chosen. These handcrafted vases are made from Japanese cedar and finished with a natural oil to preserve its soft grains and texture. 

When paired with the Asiatic Pennywort, a herbaceous plant with slender stem that extends vertically to an orbicular leaf, they complete a beautiful centerpiece, named Doro Fuqugi. Each piece also comes with its own glass tube, inserted to hold water perfect for a functional planter.
